Valentino Rossi answers why he come back
MCN revealed that Burgess and his crew also will return to Rossi Yamaha. It was confirmed during the Malaysian GP at the Sepang Circuit last month.
The return of Rossi certainly remind people rivalitasnya the Spaniard is now the number one Yamaha rider status who had just won the world title in both MotoGP, Jorge Lorenzo. Of that, Burgess had an answer, as an exclusive interview with MCN.
Next week, Valentino Rossi will end a very painful adventure with Ducati since he rejoined to gush Yamaha YZR-M1 machine. "The Doctor" will start the journey with Yamaha was the post-race test at Valencia.
Rossi did not return to the team as Japan's. Nine-time world champion grand prix will also continue its cooperation with the crew boss Jerry Burgess, of which they have been together since 2000.
For more than a decade, the pair managed to win four world titles and won 46 victories, the more achieved with Yamaha. Rossi also admitted that Burgess and his faithful crew take great contribution to the success of his career.
"It's hard to think about race without my team.'s Like when you're with your wife for 25 years and it's hard to imagine life without him," said Rossi told MCN recently.
Indeed, Rossi and Burgess never apart so that when the Italian rider was leaving Yamaha at the end of 2010 to join Ducati, Burgess, too. But when Rossi agreed to return to Yamaha for the 2013 season, there was a news Burgess reluctant to move because he wanted to complete his mission with Ducati.
Q: What is it that the Yamaha Valentino at this point in his career?
B: experience. Yamaha of course very pleased with what he had done for them in the past. Getting confirmation between Jorge and Valentino in the development of policy might be because Honda now Yamaha seems to have a number of advantages. Both will be a highly experienced group on the track, so it will be very important for Yamaha.
Question: What do you feel about returning to the Yamaha?
Burgess: It's actually more to the rider. He certainly was able to reach back for something different at Yamaha and they certainly made an opportunity for him. So, they also believe. You could call it a life line to go back there and everyone will be waiting nervously testing in Valencia.
Q: Valentino said he could not imagine racing without his crew. Do you feel the same?
B: We've been together from 2000 to the present, so that the potential for sometimes I think there's something in the sport benefited by the change. But anyone familiar with the system and how to work Yamaha Yamaha. They are also familiar with how we work.
Q: Are you thinking about quitting?
B: I've always wanted to do what was best for the rider. I always wanted to see it during the day when he stopped racing and that's what I do first with Mick (Doohan). I do not want to destroy their purpose and as long as I think I can contribute, I would be happy to stay and I did it.
Q: So, you never mind when Valentino signed a contract which means you will move with him?
B: Always hesitant because it brings the riders back is one thing. Historically when workers have moved in the past, is not necessarily easy to step back. It is also in the industry. But we all know Yamaha and the same people are still there, so it was not too difficult.
Q: Since you know the Yamaha so well, does it make it easier preparation for 2013?
B: I do not think the job would be easy. We understand how to work on the Ducati and systems and strategies in the garage is similar in all the garage that I've worked on it. I do not think that there will be a lot of trouble. We will face four trials before stepping on the track in Qatar next year. I would not say would be easy, but it will not be more trouble.

Lorenzo's still disappointed for Bautista's sentences and punishment
But Lorenzo was not satisfied with the punishment meted out to these compatriots. According to this 2010 world champion, Bautista deserves punishment should not be a series of races, such as those experienced in 2005, when involved in an accident with Alex de Angelis at Motegi, the 250 cc class race.
As a result of the accident, Lorenzo's Yamaha engine damage. Therefore, the former double world champion 250 cc class is requested dispensation to use an additional unit to replace it.
"The head race told me that they would provide a machine again," he said. "I want to thank them for their decision, but the decision against Alvaro is not fair."
With the collapse of the points in Assen Lorenzo, while on the other Repsol Honda rider, Casey Stoner, the winner, so now those same points, namely 140. However, before the seventh race of this series, Lorenzo 25 points ahead of the defending champion, so he only needs to enter the finish line and reap the points to keep in front.
Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo, said Alvaro Bautista received the punishment was too light. Because, with grid penalty no deterrent effect to the riders who make similar mistakes.
On the seventh race at Assen, Netherlands, Saturday (30/06/2012), Bautista made a fatal mistake for being too aggressive. When the race started and entered the first corner, the Honda Gresini rider lost control of his bike so it fell and hit Lorenzo. As a result, the rider is unable to continue the race.
From the results investigas, leaders declared that Bautista guilty race. As punishment, the Spanish rider will start from the rear position in the race next week at the Sachsenring, Germany.
"I think this is really a disaster. It's a disaster for me," said Lorenzo told the official MotoGP website. "This is not a good feeling because he is a Spaniard like me and it happened to him.
"The movement is doing is a disaster, but the decisions that led the race gave even more miserable. Every time there is no punishment to the riders so that they can learn for the future. Starting next race in the rearmost position is not sufficient to serve as a lesson.
"When I make a mistake in Japan in 2005, I was banned for one series. John Hopkins had experienced the same thing in Japan in the other (2003). And for (Bautista) is only a start in the last position on the next race, it is that is not fair.
"We hope we will be fortunate in another time and it does not happen again. But if we do not punish the drivers, they will do crazy things like that done Alvaro today."

"When I make a mistake in Japan in 2005, I put out a single race. Head race told me that he would start from the rear position on the grid at the Sachsenring, but it does nothing.
"We expect to be lucky in the future, and nothing will happen. But if the drivers are not properly punished, then they will continue to make things crazy."

"We tried a different engine specifications and playing around electronics, as well as some different setting to the chassis. It's all good. Specification machines were little changed, but the adan is always hope that even more.

Catalunya, - The victory at Catalunya this makes Lorenzo has won three of five series victories the 2012 season, after the Qatar and Portugal. In two other series, Lorenzo has always finished in second place. The situation is difficult because I do not want to do with menggeber folly to limit to overtake Ben and Dani. So, I wait until it gets a chance.
- Jorge Lorenzo
However, after Spies, who is a teammate makes a mistake that fall, Lorenzo put pressure on Pedrosa. After a tight battle, Lorenzo was finally able to seal the win near the end of the race, with more than five seconds advantage over Pedrosa.
What is the secret that Lorenzo can win his third victory in this 2012 season? Admittedly, patience is the key to his success that he did not make the fatal mistake.
"The situation is difficult because I do not want to do with menggeber folly to limit to overtake Ben and Dani. So, I waited to get a chance," said Lorenzo, who is now more firmly on top of the standings.
"Ben widened and I climbed into second place. For me, this is a great position, so I waited a bit to see how the Dani maintain speed. I made a mistake and he was away, but I can get close, and in five or six laps I saw Dani rate declined slightly.
"I think to wait a little longer and see what happens, because it is very easy to fall - he braked very slow in most areas of braking, so it becomes very difficult to overtake and not brushed.
"So I waited for him to make mistakes, and it happened. When I saw Dani wide, I think it's time to chance. I pass him and I thought 'if I was pushed to the limit to two or three laps, I could make the distance', because Dani slightly uncomfortable. And, that's what happened. "

Predicting Valentino Rossi, after Casey Stoner plan for retirement
Mugello - Stoner is not the only rider who will retire rumored. Last week, Rossi also denied going to stop racing next season. The Doctor confirmed that it will continue to race until 2014.
Rumors of his retirement would come dragging the name of Casey Stoner Valentino Rossi. Comes a question, whether Rossi will return to the Honda or Yamaha in the 2013 season? But Rossi said it too soon to speak.
As is known, until now Rossi is difficult to achieve the highest performance Ducati. This makes his future with the Italian motorcycle manufacturer that went dark.
Last week, the failure champion Stoner on the podium at Le Mans circuit, made up of a spekuasi racer from Australia that will be retired in the spring of 2013. However, Rossi did not want to talk about the transfer market in 2013.
"For me too soon to tell. But, depending on what happens in the next two or three months. Many things will change during the season, because all the drivers included in the transfer market, "said Rossi.

Honda and Yamaha negatively responds for the change of new MotoGP's rules

Factory team boss, Vittoriano Guareschi, told MCN: "This is a Dorna's decision to cut costs, but the Ducati, it's much easier to adapt the bike, because when the rules were changed, we are just starting to build motorcycles.
"So for us, it's much easier to raise as much as 4 kg of weight machines. Of course they (the Japanese motorcycle) has completed the bike and for them, it's not easy to increase the weight of the machine. But we did not take part in this decision. Our new Motor just begun to be built, and other machines are ready. We did not ask about it. "
Honda and Yamaha inflamed with the decision to increase the minimum weight of a new generation of MotoGP motorcycle 1000 cc engine. The reason, they have to invest even more, both in terms of financial and human resources for the development of the new machine.
Initially, the minimum weight for the new generation engine is 153 pounds, so the two teams are already well prepared. But, after meeting the Grand Prix Commission in December last, the decision was changed because the minimum weight increased to 157 kilograms, which means that must be added 4 Kg.
It's a loss for us, because the motor has been developed with a weight specifications as desired. But now, we have to add more weight
- Casey Stoner
Well, due to the change, Honda and Yamaha have to move quickly to meet those standards, so it can be tested at official pre-season test in Sepang, Malaysia, last month. This is the time to make the MotoGP world champion 2007 and 2011, Casey Stoner, giving criticism.
"It makes it more frustrating. We already have a bike that was developed, and then they decided to change the regulation. So, we must add 4 Kg weight on the motor again," said Repsol Honda rider.
"It's a loss for us, because the motor has been developed with a weight specifications as you wish. But now, we have to add more weight.
"It gives effect to the motor. It's not a lot of things you notice when driving in general, but just felt in the middle of the bend. We should try to adjust again, and overcome it. The disappointment, the decision was made so late."
HRC boss Shuhei Nakamoto support Stoner criticism during the trial's second official pre-season in Sepang, last week, where Honda again dominate as Stoner and Dani Pedrosa was ranked 1-2. To MCN, Nakamoto said that with the new thing, then they have to start from scratch.
"When you do something different, you should test the reliability of zero. Our philosophy is to test a minimum of 2,000 kilometers, and will not be cheap. I am very disappointed about this.
"We did a test at Valencia, and after this trial, all of a sudden the rules changed and it is not fair. I do not know why the rules changed."
The same money, Yamaha felt the same. Frustration that their senior race boss said, Masahiko Nakajima, while testing the official pre-season last week in Sepang.
"Personally I was so frustrated about the decision of the Grand Prix Commission. In December, it was not possible. We've made a number of sections to be paired, and some spare parts. So, to make changes to 4 Kg, it is not possible. It is rather difficult. For me , it is not the technical rules for a reason sports, and I am very frustrated about this, "he told MCN.
Rumors in the paddock leading to Ducati, which is suspected as the trigger of the rule changes. Team based in Bologna that allegedly continued to press for a change of rules to raise the minimum weight, because the new Ducati Desmosedici GP12 is heavier than 153 Kg. Moreover, when a certain minimum weight of 157 Kg, Ducati Ducati has not yet started building a new specification, so they do not spend a lot of cost.

Yamaha RS400's reborn in this year

Japan, - Yamaha Japan has introduced a model of the length of RS-400 with still the same shape as when it first launched. The only difference being the color scheme and technology in this type of motor sport.

And RS400 reborn - production is not too much - with fuel injection technology. The goal, to meet international emission limits.
The problem is, if Yamaha RS400 can meet sales targets? Even if the international market aiming Yamaha, Triumph might be an example. With a retro model Bonneville, a British motorcycle manufacturer that fails to reap the benefits due to the economic crisis.
Another inhibiting factor, consumers are now more likely to choose a small engine (250 cc) with a slim body. Then, for Yamaha RS 400, which is less favorable exchange rate between the yen and Pound Sterling.
