Yamaha announced the shocking news. This is the last year for Yamaha's participation in the event of the World Superbike championship series early this week. Yamaha privateer teams still present in 2012 without official Yamaha team participates. Unfortunately, Suzuki will reportedly also take similar steps.
Last presence of Suzuki and Yamaha in the event of the World Superbike championship series
Suzuki currently has only one motor in the series of World Superbike team Alstare Suzuki ie they can be quickly retreated. The rumor was Alstare team owner Francis Batta try a new partner of Kawasaki as a partner in 2012. This was vehemently denied Batta.
Following statement was dismissed rumors Batta to embrace Kawasaki team next year, but not strong enough to stem the speculation about the resignation of Suzuki in following the racing season 2012 World Superbike Championship.
Hopefully Suzuki Batta listen and appreciate the 13 years of service. But if Suzuki still backed up, hopefully Batta moved to a bigger and better in the World Superbike Championship paddock.
"Francis Batta and Alstare Suzuki and the best part of 13 years in a wonderful relationship, which has given satisfaction to everybody. Strong links forged since its inception and has grown throughout the year," said team boss Alstare.
"Francis is a staunch supporter of Suzuki and is the reason why he still continue in the future. When Suzuki decided not to follow the championship next year, Francis will also be stopped than he was looking for other manufacturers," he explained.
