13,000 units of Q5 crossover will be repaired free of charge

NEW YORK -Audi claims, it first got the news that the sunroof on the Q5 can be easily damaged from consumers who complained to a few Audi dealers in the United States (U.S.). Many consumers are megeluh sunroofnya easily damaged when winter arrives.

After that, Audi began to do research in March 2012 that tried to take the sunroof on the Q5 to temperatures colder than normal temperatures. After analyzing it, actually found that the sunroof Audi Q5 brittle in cold conditions.

However, Audi has not confirmed any of this damage reports from consumers who had an accident or severe injury. Currently Audi began to annouce recall campaign and Audi Q5 of  13,000 units scattered throughout the U.S. will be repaired free of charge and periodically.

For your information, Audi Q5 is equipped with powerful 2.0 liter turbo direct-injection FSI Quattro. Q5 max power capable of spitting out 211 hp at 4500-6000 rpm with maximum torque of 350 Nm at 4,200 rpm.

The campaign of recall  re-done by German car manufacturer, Audi, Q5 crossover car alerts on June 21, 2011 until December 9, 2011. The withdrawal was carried out because of damage sunroof considered vulnerable when it enters the cold temperatures.
