Volkswagen, yesterday (6 / 10) formally withdraw some diesel models, including Audi which totaled 168,275 units. Details, 161,144 units of VW, Audi 7131 units.
Based on reports from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the withdrawal was triggered by a problem in the fuel distribution system. More specifically, the NHTSA describes damage to the fuel line that supplies fuel to injector number 2. Supply system error resulted in the emergence of the resonance that causes the emergence tipped spark a fire in the engine room.
