STUTTGART - This year Mercedes-Benz van Citan manufactured in the factory in
Meubeuge renault, France, along with the model of Kangoo and
Renault-engined A-Class.
Renault, Nissan and Mercedes-Benz to expand their partnership by announcing plans to share technology and develop the engine where the gearbox together.
It was announced by Daimler AG as the parent company of Mercy in the event the Paris Motor Show 2012. Renault plans to develop it as a gasoline engine with fuel consumption of highly efficient and Lisesi automatic transmissions for Nissan and Infiniti. Reported Inautonews, a joint program of three manufacturers can cut development and production costs. Estimated results of this cooperation produces more than three million four-cylinder engine.
Furthermore, Renault, Nissan and Mercedes-Benz have had an agreement since 2010 to produce small cars like the Smart, Mercedes A-Class and Renault Twingo. The cars were manufactured at Nissan's plant in Tennessee, USA.
Mercedes-Benz itself has car platform shared front-wheel (FWD) with Nissan for the latest Infiniti models scheduled to hit the market in 2014.
