VOLKSWAGEN Beetle 2012 hoping the new design will attract buyers among younger and more attractive the male buyers, rather than female consumers. The reason many say that the VW Beetle is a car of women.
65% of all buyers of Beetle 2012 are women
Unfortunately, that stereotype does not seem wrong, at least as happened in the U.S. market which showed that 65% of all Beetle buyers are women.
VW wants to change it and they stated that the 2012 New Beetle is a more masculine car than its predecessor. VW also hopes to Beetle 2012, the ratio of male shoppers with the women there are in the ratio 50:50.
According to head of marketing and product strategy of VW America Rainer Michel, 2012 Beetle that will offer a more attractive style of the adam. Moreover, by increasing the engine power so it will be more attractive to men coming into the showroom.
Michel is also confident, more attractive than men, efforts could shift the age range of Beetle buyers in America to be younger than 58 years to 36 years.
