Chevy Camaro ZL1 on delay


Detroit: One of the most awaited car-awaited this year from General Motors (GM), Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 2012, seems not to be released in the near future. Cheverolet spokesman confirmed the news and said it postponed the release of this car.

"Through the process of quality assessment standard, we find a concern which we had to postpone it," said spokesman Monte Doran.

Doran also said the problem is not related to the software as widely reported by some media. However, he declined further comment.

Doran added, "Obviously, we actually want to release (ZL1) as soon as possible, but we do not yet have a schedule when to send the cars to dealers."

Earlier this week, GM's official website also upload an official statement of Russell M. Clark, Director of the Chevrolet small car for business, utility and Performance Car Marketing. He said: "All models ZL1 Camaro that has been assembled to date will be retained by General Motors for quality assessment. Time perilsian also not been determined and the possibility of a few weeks away."

2012 ZL1 Coupe car was originally scheduled to go on sale this spring, with prices ranging from U.S. $ 54,995. Then followed the launch of the ZL1 Camaro Convertible in the summer of 2013. However, the price of the second car has not been announced.
