Mazda's bumpers're 20 percent lighter

Tokyo - Mazda continues to struggle to develop the bumper. After making the bumper material taken from the former bumper, Mazda has managed to make the bumper of the lightest in the world.

But Mazda claims even lighter and thinner, the bumper remains strong and can absorb the impact when it crashed. The use of these new bumpers can improve the efficiency of the car so that its fuel consumption more efficient.

The new material also makes the production time is reduced. In the production process bumpers, bumper molding is guided by a computer. The result of printing bumper which usually takes about 60 seconds now reduced to 30 seconds.

Going forward, Mazda will continue working to reduce vehicle weight and improve aspects of vehicle dynamics in order to meet the user's satisfaction in terms of environment and security.
