Horex will launch standar VR6 into the market in the spring

Horex hope was able to remove the standard VR6 into the market in the spring of next year and supercharged versions that will follow after that.

HOREX still working hard this winter to finish the production version of the VR6 model motorcycles. They have just announced the official figures about the performance of the new street bike. VR engine 6 cylinder 1218 cc engine capable of generating its power 161 hp and 135.6 Nm of torque.

Machines that emit energy peak at 9,000 rpm torque also has a character who has 'come out' in a very low engine speed. At engine speed 2,000 rpm, the resulting torsional force reached 89.5 Nm and 100.3 Nm at 3500 rpm.

This character is in line with expectations creators who want to make Horex VR6 easy to drive in urban streets.

"Our machines are designed to get a machine that is able to present the abundant torque, slightly above idle and dynamically round rose steadily until the maximum output torque. And we succeeded," says CEO Horex, Clemens Neese.

This classic motorcycle design has a unique chain lubrication system, named constant solid-graphite chain lubrication system. As the name implies, this motorcycle chain constantly lubricated by itself.

Uniquely lubricants do not use oil or wax as in a traditional motor. The German motor manufacturer mengandeng Schunk Group, which created a system that constantly coat the chain with a layer of graphite.

You could say this vehicle chain works using a dry lubrication system was first on the market. The system is claimed to improve the maintenance intervals on a standard chain lubrication system.

"We developed this driveline to combine ride comfort, stability and in this case the ratio between the front and rear are primed with low maintenance," said Chief Engineer Robert Rieder Horex.

"The system power conductor of the chain with the graphite-based solid lubrication system is the best solution," he continued.
