International automotive exhibition Tokyo Motor Show 2011 officially opened to the media on Wednesday (30/11) local time. As quoted by NHK, a total of 174 manufacturers of automotive and components from Japan and around the world took part in the biennial exhibition that was held for 9 days. To the public, the exhibition will be open from 3 December.

Latest homemade electric car concept Nissan Motor was parked in a special area for charging car batteries. The car model was also supplies electrical power to the network.
