Nissan Almera will be marketed in Southeast Asian
Nissan Motor Thailand introduced a new generation car, the Nissan Almera. This car became the first Nissan sedan which is marketed under the eco-car program of the Thai government.
"This latest generation Almera is the first environmentally friendly sedan and launched the program in line with the Thai government's eco-friendly cars," said Toshiyuki Shiga, Chief Operating Officer of Nissan, in quotes reported by autoevolution, Monday (10/10/2011).
Regarding the kitchen runway, the car is equipped with 1200 cc petrol engine that produces three-cylinder 79 HP with a torque of 106 Nm. Power is channeled to the two wheels with five-speed manual transmission. Other options are also available transmission-X-Tronic CVT.
Equipped with such machines, Almera is claimed to be fuel efficient, ie only 1 liter up to 20 km. CO2 emissions produced no more than 120 grams per kilometer. And the interior was certainly more extensive than any other sedan cars.
