X-Bow is electric three-wheel (E3W) vehicle from Austria


AUSTRIA - Austrian motorcycle manufacturer, KTM Sportmotorcycle AG, will manufacture an environmentally friendly fast vehicle, called by X-Bow. Three-wheeled electric vehicles or electric three-wheel (E3W) KTM is the result of collaboration with the Australian Institute of Technology and Industrial Design Studio of Kisha. The project is partially assisted by the Government of Austria.

E3W's designed for two passengers of vehicles categorized as a practical, intelligent, and environmentally friendly. He is suitable for city traffic with a minimal environmental impact. This vehicle will compete with Renault Twizy.

E3W's very stylish for exterior appearance. The door of Lamborghini models like the scissors, while the body is made of plastic material.

KTM will produce 50,000 vehicles in two years. Those plans took a partner to the production process, planned a few more years. It costs between 7,000 dollars and 8,000 U.S. dollars

Only 530 kg weight of the vehicle powered electric motor-powered 20 HP power source of lithium-ion batteries. In a fully charged battery condition, E3W can move as far as 100 miles.
