Suzuki said there was no plan to end the partnership with VW

FRANKFURT - Volkswagen spokesman Michael Brendel, as reported by Autonews (8 / 8), affirmed, "(The rumors) are non sense." Suzuki spokesman also said there was no plan to end the partnership with VW and denied the news.

Rift between Suzuki Motor Corporation and Volkswagen AG that occurred in mid-July and then re-peaked. Because the rumorsfrom the local German media, Platow Brief, which says that bothcompanies will end the cooperation. Prior to the issue spread,Volkswagen (VW) directly confirms there is no intention to endtheir partnership.

Nevertheless, rumors re-emerged because of cooperation between the two companies has been no form. Chief Financial Officer Hans Dieter Poetsch VW, last month, just commenting, in collaboration with Suzuki running slower than necessary.

Executive Vice President Yasuhito Suzuki Harayama suggestedthe same thing. Both companies emphasize evaluation of the corporation rather than working on a new car project together.

The aim is to boost sales of VW in India and developing countries. VW's plan was carried out with the target to be number one in the world in 2018.

VW and Suzuki initial agreement is to jointly develop hybridtechnology and electric cars for the next mass-produced. To that end, VW bought 19.9 percent of Suzuki shares with a nominalvalue of 2.86 billion U.S. dollars in January 2010.
