1963 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray is classified as the best design

According to the design chief of General Motors (GM), Ed Wilburn, something which makes the Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray 1963 is extraordinary, because it is a model that brings a series of Corvette to a new level. This vehicle was taken from the base show car designed by GM design chief who was held by Bill Mitchell.

Sting Ray had a more slender figure, sophisticated and more 'polite' than the previous Corvette. With a more mature style, he does not forget that the main purpose of this vehicle was created to be something fun either when viewed and when driving.

Typical car made of fiberglass material is maintained. Another distinctive feature is headlights that can be folded and electrically operated. This coupe has a separate rear glass which then becomes the main characteristic that distinguishes Corvette Sting Ray with another.

Ed Wilburn pointed out that the presence of Sting Ray brings a very strong influence. Every Corvette that comes after that, much influenced by it, even to this day. "Dashboard twins are part of the interior design of the Chevrolet Corvette and until now," Ed explains.
