Diesel Veloster Hyundai powered by 208 Bhp

HYUNDAI will launch a new engine for 2012 model of the machine of Veloster's 1.6 T-GDI-tech direct-injection twin-scroll turbo powered by 208 bhp with a torque of 265 Nm.

According to Blog Hyundai, the direct injection engine is part of Project Blue Drive optimized for the use of more fuel-efficient at lower rpm which edges to cut exhaust emissions.



With tremendous strength to the size of compact machine, the machine is equivalent to the VW Group's engine alerts that are labeled by TFSI 2.0-liter used in the Golf GTI and Scirocco models. For the record, in its development, Hyundai Veloster it will target the space occupiedby VW Scirocco.

The new engine will be installed in Veloster 2012 that the possibility would be launched at New York Auto Show later this month. After Veloster, Hyundai will also pair this machine later in the 2013 ix30 also on the Kia Cee'd, which is part of the Hyundai company.
