A3 accomplishs Audi prototype of e-Tron

Audi reveals the possibility of electric vehicle technology 'e-tron' applied to all levels of their products, with the presence of A3 hatchback, which it finally joined the next-generation prototype electric-powered vehicles. A few weeks ago a prototype e-tron A5 quattro Audi has been displayed by the carrying two separate hybrid modules, including the ability as a plug-in hybrid.

A3 latest e-tron, carrying the electric drive system that relies on an electric motor to drive the front wheels. The electric motor has a power of 100 kW (134 hp) with a force of 270 Nm of twist that can make the A3 accelerate from 0-100 km / h in 11.2 seconds with a maximum speed of 144 km / hour.

When the lithium ion battery with a capacity of 26.5 kWh is in full condition, the reasonable distance traveled by these vehicles can achieve 140 km. Meanwhile, to replenish the batteries are empty, requiring approximately 9 hours taking electricity at home, and 4 hours if using fast charging system voltage 400 volts.
