Toyota issues Photo of Hybrid Yaris

Toyota is little by little showing its new flagship hybrid, the Toyota Yaris. At this time, a Japanese manufacturer issues photo front bumper of new Yaris, it will be introduced officially in Geneva Auto Show 2011, next March.

So far, Toyota is relying on the Toyota Prius. But it is recent, the development of other models of competitors make Toyota start to develop other models. In addition to be already showing Prius MPV at North American International Auto Show last January, Toyota was concocting another model. The choice was fell on their best-selling hatchback Yaris.

But the Yaris has reportedly the consumption that it is more efficient than the Prius. When news of Yaris hybrid firstly appeared in 2009 was stated if this car could consume 1 liter of fuel for 40 km, two liters was more economical than the Prius taking for 1:38 consumption liters / km.

What about the features? Yaris hybrid type had a view in which it is much different than conventional Yaris passing today. From the photo launched, a new headlight and the bumper used LED display with a new design.

hybrid Yaris will be produced at Toyota's plant in Valenciennes, France. The plant is also a place of assembly of the Yaris to the European market.
