Post Tsunami and quakes attacked, some factory Toyota Kicks Off Already

Tokyo: Toyota on Thursday (17 / 3) announced it would begin producing some car component production at seven plants in Japan, post earthquakes and tsunami that struck the country of sakura.

As quoted by AFP, the first factory will start to make replacement parts for the domestic market, and on Monday (14 / 3) start the re-production parts to supply to its factories overseas.

Toyota has 22 factories in Japan, 12 have directly operated. Toyota spokesman said the company did not know when it will resume production at other factories that make cars. The spokesman added that Toyota Tohoku, a new plant in Miyagi, suffered minor damage in the quake but it was not affected by the tsunami.
