Jaguar C-X75 became best design electric car

Electric-powered luxury cars, Jaguar C-X75, obtained the grace of the famous fashion house of Luis Vuitton or Louis Vuitton's Classic Concept Award 2010. Concept car made by British manufacturer, Jaguar & Land Rover was judged by a jury consisting of prominent fields of design, fashion, and drafter of the car having the best design.

As reported by the autochannel.com, Wednesday (2 / 2), the jury consisted of famous writer Serge Bellu, Xavier Dixsaut who is also Director of Product Innovation of Louis Vuitton, one of Gordon Murray McLaren F1 design, Harm Lagaaij listed as a former head of Porsche's designers, and automotive journalists from Japan that is Masafumi Suzuki.

The jury was chaired by Christian Philippsen, a consultant and world-class automotive ingurator.that "Jaguar C-X75 has built a world-class reputation with a strong foundation which it is luxurious with accurate details, technological sophistication, and elegance of a design," said Philippsen.

Indeed, this car besides having a beautiful shape also had some unique advantages. Electric motor with a capacity of 140 kilo watt (kW), which assumed power was capable of spraying up to 780 horsepower.

Interestingly, although docking was only done once in six hours, but the cars have traveled distances up to 100 kilometers (km).

In fact, the car could reach to be extended to 900 km. It was thanks to the use of micro gas turbine in charge of charging a battery or electric motor to play it straight. In other words, the gas turbine was the heart of stun electric motor to power the car.

The device was developed by Jaguar with Bladon Jets, a specialist of British gas turbine engineering company, to be mounted on four wheels.

It was armed with the power of the electric motor, this car was capable of racing to 330 kilometers per hour (kpj). Even acceleration from a stop to 100 kpj could be achieved within 3.4 seconds only.
