General Motor take step forward for Electric Cars for Battery supported by Solar energy

DETROIT- General Motors (GM) took a step forward again in about electric cars. America's giant car manufacturers have set up a battery charging from solar energy sources (CleanCharge = CC) entrusted to Envision Solar on one priority.

Locations filling spread over the state of Michigan is in an area with a canopy of solar panels of EnvisionTrak as parking lot. Higher productivity of electrical charging for 20 to 25 percent is compared to ordinary solar panels. "We are delighted to have been selected by GM for the installation of this strategic tool that it allows the Chevy Volt to utilize solar power to recharge the batteries without depending on the source of the electricity generated carbon-fueled generators," said Bob Noble, CEO Envision Solar.

GM plans to install more than 5,300 places of recharging batteries in the state of Michigan, as part of the launch of the Volt. It is not only with Envision Solar, the U.S. manufacturing giant is also collaborating with several other partners to accomplish its mission. Currently, 1,500 Chevrolet dealers across the U.S. are also being installed where recharging the battery to its consumers.

Chevy Volt electric car will be sold at Chevrolet dealerships California, Michigan, Washington DC, Texas and New York. starting in November 2010.
