British Government urged electric cars subsidized by being accountable for 25% discount for buying product by customers

LONDON - The British government announced a nine-car models which those are entitled to a subsidy up to $ 8,000. Subsidies are applied as part of government efforts to support electric cars colectively.

With this scheme applied, customers can get discounts up to 25% as the price of electric cars more expensive than vehicles using fuel oil.

The car will be subsidized by British goverment, namely, the Mitsubishi i-MiEV, the Smart ForTwo electric drive, ion Peugeot, Nissan Leaf, Tata Vista, CZero Citroen, Vauxhall Ampera, Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid, and Chevrolet Volt. It's old scheme.

British Transport Secretary, Philip Hammond, said a few years ago that this kind of scheme is merely a dream. "Now that dream a reality. We can have a comfortable car and it's at the same time environmentally friendly," says Hammond.

The government also will spend U.S. $ 30 million to build 4000 recharging stations for electric cars in the UK. This policy is designed by the Labor Party government but the new government, a coalition of Conservatives and Liberal Democrats, to continue the plan.

Post budget set by the government has not been trimmed by the new government.
