Customizing themes of Jakarta Motorcycle Show 2010 about 'Safety Riding & Eco-Friendly', Yamaha displayed three electric motorbikes with environmentally friendly technologies, ie, EC-03, PASer, and EC-f.
With an attractive and unique appearance, EC-03, PAS er, and EC-f to be one of prima donna on the Yamaha booth at the exhibition held in Jakarta Convention Center, 3-7 November 2010.
EC-03 is one of the three concepts of environmentally friendly motorby of Yamaha most likely to be massively produced. EC-03 that is is a commuter who uses electrical energy 100 percent.
By having Weighs of 56 kgs, EC-03 has traveled a distance of 43 kms after the battery charged for 7 hours. With a simple and attractive model,EC-03 was worthy of competing with an electric motorbike first entering the Indonesian market.
The second concept is that an PAS er's electro-hybrid electric bicycle with the concept of two-wheel drive technology. With this technology, electric motor will help turn all the wheels both front and rear wheels with automatic electronic transmission.
Of the three concept electric motors on show JMCS Yamaha in 2010, EC-f is a most unique concept . The form is very futuristic and making EC-f seem strange to be accepted by Indonesia's current market.
