This German sports car manufacturer go into liquidation

Altenburg - This German sports car manufacturer go into liquidation and that's Gumpert.

Ever hear the name Gumpert? The German supercar manufacturer has the full name Sportwagenmanufaktur Gumpert GmbH, founded by the former Director of Audi Sport, Roland Gumpert in 2005.



Under his control Audi won a total of 25 World Rally Championship title race, and 4 times World Champion Rally Championship. The first model manufacturer which has bases in Altenburg is named Apollo.

In 2008, the Apollo Sport appeared on the show Top Gear was driven around the circuit. The results are astounding, record the time Apollo Sport was the fastest, beating Ascari A10, Bugatti Veyron and Pagani Zonda, before being defeated by the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.

Now the fate of the middle of the unsteady and manufacturers will soon be headed for bankruptcy. Investors who plan to disburse funds to survive they have decided to get out of the agreement, leaving Gumpert in the financial downturn.
