Mercedes Benz will introduce  new smart car 2014,  the all-new Smart Fortwo and Forfour. Present as a concept car Mercy duet when the mat Frankfurt Motor Show 2013 in September.

Reported by Autocar,    the third generation of the Fortwo city car (coded C453) and second-generation Forfour (W453)  as   new smart car 2014 will be produced next year. Both cars will use a new rear engine developed by Renault-Nissan.

Base using the latest third-generation Renault Twingo, which was used on the concept car and Twin'Run Twin'Z.

This platform is claimed to be more flexible to be applied to various types of wheelbase and width of the vehicle, making it a combination of city car and hatchback.

Good choice of engines for ForTwo coupe and cabrio version will use a three-cylinder engine

900 cc which has been developed. There are three massive power that is 65 hp N / A, and 85 Hp and 105 Hp air-turbocharger, mated to a six-speed manual transmission.

Diesel option is not given, but the Fortwo e-drive using 90 hp engine with electric engine and lithium ion batteries.

Recent forfour Forstar predicted to follow the style concept, using a platform that extended Fortwo, Renault Twingo whellbase such 2470mm. For exact machine will be more powerful than the Fortwo.
