It is what i was dreaming before and it will realize it concerning mass electric vehicles in my country. I remembered when i lived at Jakarta, the traffic jam was frequent everywhere. I hope someday there will be electric vehicles there. Electric car is for private and electric mass transport for public. it is wonderful when all of my dreams will come true.
If it will realize that program, You should know there are 13 terminals from Lebak Bulus to HI area and it is quite taken 30 minutes only.
The Jakarta government plans to build the project MRT (mass rapid transport) or vehicles carrying passengers in large numbers quickly.
Thus, it was disclosed Arif Rahmat from MRT Project Management division. He said that this project will go smoothly. Funds needed are available, that is derived from Japanese aid (JICA). It is estimated, the funds needed to reach Rp15 trillion.
"The funds is for it final yet, to pend finalization of the designs which it continue to be worked until early 2011. Clearly, this project would run, and it will become the property of Establishments, "Arif said in a press release of PT JIEXPO, organizer of the Jakarta Fair Arena, Friday, June 25, 2010.
According to the plan at an early stage, in 2012 to build the North South corridor. MRT will start operating in November 2016, connecting Lebak Bulus area and the Hotel Indonesia in a single track rail.
Later, along the path, it will be built 13 terminals. Seven terminals between Lebak Bulus and Block M is located at ground level. Six others, ranging from Al-Azhar to Roundabout Hotel Indonesia, is subway or under ground.
The path is going to be reached in just 30 minutes. ItsMode is a train, Like electric trains, with six carriages and it is capable of carrying 1200 passengers at a time.
Arif hoped their participation in the Jakarta Fair MRT project is to socialize well, so that people can understand and give support. "To be sure, during the project development process, this community will be a little disturbed," said Arif. "But it had to happen for the future of our transportation better."
