The world's top-selling automaker, Toyota Motor announced the recall or recalling about 185,000 vehicles globally units, one of which is brand Yaris.
Recall was due to an error in the electric power steering system that could make the steering becomes heavier.
In Japan, the same variant of the Yaris Vitz has a name, which was produced between November 2010 and March 2012. Toyota says also call brand Verso-S, which is known in Japan as the Ractis, produced in August 2010 until August 2011.
According to Reuters, the disorder occurs because the circuit is exposed to water droplets could disrupt power steering control module. As a result, could lose power steering, so the steering feels heavier, Toyota said in a statement.
Shiori Hashimoto, a Toyota spokesman said, Toyota recalled 130,000 units in Japan, more than 7,400 units in Italy, 7,050 units in Germany and about 7,000 units in France, as well as in other countries, including Britain and the United States.
