P1 Hypercar McLaren will also be equipped by a twin turbocharged V8 engine MP4-12C 3.8-liter capacity capable of producing approximately 800 horsepower power. P1 will also be installed KERS system or Kinetic Energy Recovery System.
KERS system taken from the kinetic energy of these brakes, similar to what is embedded in a Formula One car. KERS is able to provide an extra boost in close proximity.
