Queen Elizabeth II's favourite car will be on auction


London - Now, after almost 35 years of adventuring, the new car was to run as far as 1892 miles only and still in very excellent condition. It is one of nearly 440 thousand Land Rover Series III were produced between 1971 and 1985.

And according to the plan, this car will be auctioned with an estimated price of between 15.000-18.0000 pounds. Pretty cheap for a car laden history.

"We are very pleased and honored to be entrusted with the task of finding a new home for a unique vehicle," said auction house Historics Auction Director Edward Bridger-Stille as quoted by the Daily Mail, Sunday (11/11/2012).

Judging from his appearance, this car may look like an ordinary car. But who would have thought that this car is a car specially made for Queen Elizabeth II, and has a 'traffic light' itself.

The car is green  Series II Land Rover was made in 1978, which is designed specifically for the queen. Interestingly, it turns 4X4 cars have a 'traffic light' itself useful for the queen to set the driver with a sign that read stop lights, slow and start.

So when the queen asked the driver to drive more slowly, then she does not need to talk, just press the button and the driver was slow to understand.
