Recall's unevitable for Volvo XC70 and S80
Kansas City, - Volvo has not announced about the time of execution. However, Volvo confirmed that customers will be contacted directly for the nearest dealer.
The latest news about "recall" came from Volvo. Institute for Highway Safety Administration (NHTSA) in the U.S., announced on the subject tire pressure monitoring system (tire pressure monitoring system = TPMS) located at 300 units of Volvo XC70 and S80, yesterday (4/9).
Volvo TPMS is an advanced feature allows the driver to control the air pressure and tire condition. Well, after checking NHTSA, electronic modules in the tool is problematic, and displays a message on the MID says "TPMS Service Required." This message appears 15 minutes after the car is running.
"This issue makes the driver could not get the information if the tires need air added. Users vehicles also will not know the condition of the tires. Did overheating or overload. If left vulnerable to collapse and possible accident," said NHTSA in its launch.
