McLaren P12 will be supported by KERS

PARIS -   Rumors earlier said the McLaren P12 will be equipped with the Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS), which gives an additional 120 horsepower. Unfortunately, there are no official figures for how power maximum of McLaren P12.


McLaren plans to introduce a concept supercar, P12 in the event the Paris Motor Show 2012. McLaren P12 concept car will be the successor to the McLaren F1.
 
  The news that McLaren will launch the successor of the iconic model of F1 is not a new surprise. Rumor has emerged over the last few months. Event the Paris Motor Show 2012, a storefront to showcase McLaren P12.
 
  No official statement about this news. British supercar manufacturer is simply saying, McLaren P12 will be powered by the same engine as the MP4-12C supercar, the twin turbo V8 engine capacity of 3.8 liters. But there are some additional components that make the P12 becomes more powerful.
 
  "We have not revealed the power of this car, because we do not compete in numbers. Would be more extreme in the technology, if it gives the engine power commensurate with the handling," said McLaren Regional Director Asia Pacific, Ian Gorsuch, as reported Inautonews.
