components and technology from the VW Group's applied by another brand


Berlin,  - Porsche is now using the supply of components and technology from the VW Group and will continue to adapt to deepen cooperation with other brands in the VW Group. Analysts at DZ Bank in Frankfurt Michael Punzet said, VW became the ruler and soon collaborated MAN with Scania.

"If VW offered Alfa Romeo or Proton cheaply, surely they will not refuse., But this time they focus Porsche integrate and consolidate the two truck manufacturers MAN and Scania," said Punzet.

Volkswagen Group boss Martin Winterkorn said he would not swallow again after another successful brand officially became the owner of Audi, Porsche and truck manufacturer MAN. Transactions conducted last VW - last month - that is a majority shareholder of Porsche, 50.1 percent after the fund disbursed 5.62 billion.

"We think it's enough to have 12 brands as expected," said Winterkorn told German newspaper Handelsblatt (31/08/2012).

Porsche is a brand of VW last after having managed to buy Ducati July through Audi and add to the composition of MAN shares in June to 75 percent. Winterkorn also reiterated, was not interested in buying Proton today.

"We need to grow in Southeast Asia. However does not mean having to buy Proton. Some have speculated pleasure," Winterkorn said.

Alfa Romeo
 Explained, Winterkorn still see the potential that can be acquired brands, including Alfa Romeo, Fiat owned. Because, two years ago Ferdinand Piech, VW's one of the leaders had said his desire to be the majority shareholder of Alfa Romeo. But until now has not been implemented.

"It's no secret we think Alfa Romeo is one of the brands that interest. Nevertheless, we confirms again, we've been pretty busy with brands (new) us," said Winterkorn.
