Strong battery made by General Motor to build electric cars running within 200 miles

DETROIT - General Motors (GM) is pinning high hopes on electric car segment. GM to design electric car with a battery that can penetrate within 200 miles or 321 km, a single battery charge. GM supports a company that can create a battery.

As expressed by General Motors CEO Dan Akerson yag stated that, a small battery was working for GM, to develop lithium-ion batteries are strong.

These batteries have the ability to store more energy than batteries currently available. GM wants the battery may run 100 miles or 200 miles, with only a single battery charge.

As far as imi GM electric car, the Chevrolet Volt, to a distance of 35 miles, before it powered by a gasoline engine. Meanwhile, Tesla's cars offer 300 miles on a single recharge. Only, the price is much more expensive cars.

GM Chevy Volt itself already has a name, after record sales were pretty good, compared to cars like the Nissan Leaf listrikk. GM has invested a total of $ 7 million since 2011 to develop a new battery.

Contract work is given to the strong battery of  company Envia System, Newark, California. Akerson in to comment on Envia statement, saying that smaller companies will surprise the world.
