Fernando Alonso is currently the F1 drivers' standings
London - Through 11 races Alonso, who has won three races, was ranked first with 164 points. Ferrari was behind 40 points from Mark Webber (Red Bull), who finished two.
Of the three victories Alonso, two of whom assisted with the rainy conditions. If the Grand Prix of Malaysia in the race it rained, the rain fell in the German GP qualifying session. Just in Valencia he won in dry conditions in both qualifying sessions and races.
Moreover, the appearance of Alonso in the race have not been able to match the somewhat dry performance in wet races. Ferrari engineering boss Pat Fry admitted that the rain really helped Alonso. Conversely, 'Prancing Horse' has not been able to maximize the car in dry conditions.
"Of course if there is a dry race in Malaysia, the story would be different. I think we can not hide behind the fact that the weather has helped us," Fry told Autosport.
"What I think we are the fastest in the qualifying session that runs dry? I think that when it does, but the two wet sessions (Silverstone and Hockenheim, when Alonso took pole) we were more impressive," he explained.
Fernando Alonso is currently the F1 drivers' standings. It was judged to be separated from the presence of a number of wet conditions on the track in the first half of the season.
