40 million machines since factory opened in Dagenham was first established

ESSEX -Dagenham factory making machine first in 81 years ago or more precisely in 1931. Now, the Dagenham plant at the center of Ford's diesel engine plant in the world. This factory produces more than 50 percent of all diesel engines globally.

This factory has contributed to the success of  Escord Ford, Cortina, Granada and Capri. Besides the factory has also been producing machines of other brands such as Jaguar, Mazda and Volvo.

In 2003, an additional factory opened in Dagenham. With the investment of up to 325 million pounds , the plant can produce as many as 2,500 units of the machine every day.

 Ford factory in Dagenham, Essex, England has recorded a new milestone. Because the factory that produces the Ford engine has been built as many as 40 million machines since it was first established.
