Sergio Pininfarina's best ferrari designer has died at 85 years


ROME - In 1966 Sergio Pininfarina joined the family company owned by his father, Carrozzeria Pininfarina. At that Sergio had just graduated from the polytechnic of Turin majoring in mechanical engineering.

During that time, he was directly involved with all aspects of business, ranging from car design to be developed and built. Sergio was determined to change the public perception of the car which emphasizes functionality.


 The news of grief enveloped the world of automotive Italy after Sergio Pininfarina has died at the age of 85 years. Pininfarina died in his native Turin, Italy.

Sergio Pininfarina is an Italian car designer born 8 September 1926 ago. Throughout his career, Sergio has created a variety of designs such as the Ferrari Testarossa sensational car, Fiat 124 Spider, the Fiat Dino and Maserati GranTurismo.
