Fernando Alonso's happy in a good week to finish second in the British F1 at Silverstone


Silverstone,  - Clearly,  Alonso lost seven points from Mark Webber (Red Bull rider who won the race after successfully passing Alonso on lap 48). Even so, we gain some extra points. So it was a good week for the championship. "

Fernando Alonso said he was happy to finish second in the British F1 at Silverstone yesterday (8/7). Although three-quarters had led the race from lap 52 to take, he said the result was not too disappointing.

"I'm happy with second place," said the winner of the race in Valencia. "Now, 10 minutes after the finish and after leading the race there is a strange feeling of losing the first podium. I believe in one hour I would be much happier," he continued.

In the ninth round of the race yesterday, Alonso has shown how the hardness Ferrari F2012 at the Silverstone circuit. Only emphasized that the Prancing Horse team still need to take steps if it wants to compete with Red Bull.

"The car (F2012) is very good in Valencia and here (Silverstone), where the track is completely different, it looks very good glide. We still need the last step so that the distance is very close to those guys (Red Bull and others ) We should be faster in some conditions, "said the Spaniard.
