Chery's trying to compete to Tata Nano

One of China's automakers Chery Auto Company Limited is planning to build a factory in India, with initial production target of 2015. However, the company had a red plate that China's government will start work on the market by launching the Chery QQ3. This compact car has been spotted several times the local media again tested on the streets of Delhi, since last year. If so marketed, QQ3 will target segment with the Tata Nano price range from 2 to 2.5 lakhs. Chery will fill the segment between the Nano and the Maruti Alto, which is currently the largest market in India.

Chery said the boss, the location of the factory has been set and just waiting for permission from the government of India. Targeted assembly plant capable of supplying a minimum of 10,000 units per year. Chery also intends to export to neighboring countries so that it can double its production to 20,000 units per year.
