Milton Keynes - If Vettel was so dominant last year - and won 11 times on the podium 17 times - this year the competition is much tougher. Until the sixth series, there were six riders who became champion, with Vettel victorious in Bahrain.
"This year is far more candidates than the previous race winners. Therefore, grab as many points as possible in each race will be more important," said Vettel.
"If you look ten years ago, there was sharp criticism of the F1 is boring because Michael (Schumacher) always wins. Now we hear F1 is unpredictable and like the lottery," he said.
Sebastian claimed to be happy and have no plans to leave the Red Bull. German rider was also talking about the intense competition this season.
Vettel, who became world champion last two years with Red Bull, still have a contract until the end of 2014. However, he was several times rumored to be moved to Ferrari.
For the umpteenth time, Vettel dismissed the rumors. For him, the Red Bull was like her own who did not want him to leave.
"I wear a helmet Red Bull for most of my career. It's hard to imagine another kind of life if you are so used to it," I Vettel told Autosport.
"It's like when you step on the age of 18, 19, and then out of the house of your family. I am very happy with the condition now and I do not want to go anywhere," he continued.
