Due to be complained, Jeep Wrangler and Chevrolet Cruze is examined in detail by NHTSA
DETROIT - If the investigation finds any problems, then as many as 177 330 units of Chevrolet Cruze 2011 model year will be withdrawn from circulation. NHTSA also will expand its examination of the 2012 Cruze models.
Jeep Wrangler and Chevrolet Cruze is being examined in detail by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the United States.
The tests were related to the potential for engine fires that can be generated Chevrolet Cruze and the Jeep Wrangler.
As reported Inautonews, Friday (05/25/2012), two cases have been reported fires on the Chevrolet Cruze and eight Jeep Wrangler also burned. Ten cases of fire was triggered in the engine compartment.
Examination of the Jeep Wrangler states, seven of the eight fires occurred while the vehicle is driven. When NHTSA finds an error in the component, then the Jeep Wrangler 2010 model should be withdrawn from circulation.
NHTSA also said the party, there were two complaints from users Chevrolet Cruze, due to engine fires. But the problem is unknown at this Cruze, is on fire while driving or in a stationary position.
