Recall process for Ducati 848 EVO, Streetfighter 848, Hypermotard 796, Monster 796 and 1100 EVO


NEW YORK -  According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) recall performed because of damage to the rear brake system which can result in decreased efficiency of the rear brake when stopped.

The problem, the rear brake assembly having this problem instead of the original Ducati, but from a supplier who has been a partner of Ducati to the braking system. As reported by the Motorcycle, Wednesday (05/09/2012).

Furthermore, in this case, Ducati managed to attract 283 units of six models of motorcycles and Ducati's 2012 assembly appealed to all consumers to immediately check the nearest Ducati dealership.

Later, the brakes will be checked directly by Ducati mechanic who was in every dealership. If later found it problematic, then the Ducati will replace it and will not be charged.


 Ducati announced it has been doing a recall or a recall for the six models of the motor assembly 2012. Six of these motors, including the Ducati 848 EVO, Streetfighter 848, Hypermotard 796, Monster 796 and 1100 EVO.
