Apparently, the performance began to sag so that the Ducati GP12 on the seventh lap, Hayden, who started from third place, had slipped to number six. Not just the past Pedrosa, the 2006 world champion was overtaken Dovizioso and Crutchlow. Even he started getting threats from the two Honda satellite team, Stefan Bradl (LCR), and Alvaro Bautista (Gresini).
What about Rossi? Seven-time world champion premier class is only capable of competing in the back row and the fight against the Ducati satellite teams. Until the eighth lap of "The Doctor" is at number 10, to compete with Hector Barbera (Pramac), and Karel Abraham (Cardion AB).

When the remaining nine-lap race, Lorenzo began to put pressure on Stoner. Slowly but surely, the 2010 world champion continued to trim gap and just 0.374 seconds behind. Be exciting and tight battles to fight over the main podium. Whereas in the second row, only Pedrosa and Crutchlow who continued to fight fought third position, as Dovizioso, who finished fifth was too far behind, 10.560 seconds behind.
However, Stoner managed to cope with pressure. Although it continues being followed Lorenzo, 2007 and 2011 world champion managed to finish the race for 27 laps this perfectly, so it came out as the winner and end the dream for the main podium at Jerez.
