Ferrari California and 458 Italia comes with a 4.3 liter and 4.5 liter for V8 engine, capable of developing 562 horsepower power and 540 Nm of torque

Maranello -  Ferrari California is equipped with 4.3 liter V8 engine, capable of generating power output reaching 483 horsepower and torque of 505 Nm (372 lb-ft). The car is more than 30 HP and 20 Nm (15 lb-ft) compared to California before. Ferrari California is able to record acceleration 0-100 km / h in 3.8 seconds.

While the Ferrari 458 Italia comes with a 4.5 liter V8 engine, capable of developing 562 horsepower power and 540 Nm of torque. Engine unit is also used by Maserati. Engine mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.

The Italian sports car maker Ferrari, should do a recall on two variants of the 458 Italian and California supercar around the world. Recall is forced to do because there are problems in the crankshaft crankshafts or vehicle.

As reported inautonews, Wednesday (05/09/2012), as many as 206 of 13,000 outstanding supercar in the world affected by this problem. If it is ignored by the owner, the vibration in the crankshaft can cause more severe damage to the engine.

Ferrari has not specified anything about the continuing reports about the recall. However, there has been no reported accidents or injuries related to this issue.
