MUNICH - Volkswagen (VW) has just launched the latest generation of the Passat variant that uses the platform of the MQB. However, recently re-announced for the VW Passat new generation that will be issued in 2014 comes with Bi-Turbo diesel engine TDI.
The machine can shoot up to 200 hp. What's more available version of the plug-in hybrid-equipped 1.4-liter petrol engine turbocharged and electric motor that can shoot up to 170 hp.
Unfortunately, a detailed specification clearly not divulged by VW. The plan, a detailed specification will be launched in the near future. Thus was launched the autoevolution, Thursday (29/03/2012).
Passat comes preformance of three types, namely the Trendline, Comfortline, and Highline. The third model is also equipped with Dynamic Light Assist.
The new VW Passat is being produced and sold in Europe in early 2014, but it is uncertain how much the selling price of the car.
