Ten alternative energy as the replacement of Oil
Speeding cars because the fuel pick. But keep in mind that sooner or later, the fuel will run out. Therefore, the need to use alternative energy is better than ever.
The depletion of oil, spur the various parties to seek alternative fuel. There are 10 alternative fuel that can be expected sooner or later replace the oil.
A. Organic waste
The organic waste is processed into liquid fuels, called with gasification and synthesis gas as well disebutn. This gas is mixed with ethanol so that the combustion process more easily. On a small scale, some countries have made use of this gas as an automotive fuel.
2. Hydrogen
Eenergi chemical that is converted into electricity and suitable for electric cars. Now that is under development, especially infrastructure for charging fuel cells into vehicles that can be done also in the conventional. With the incessant development and production of electric cars, the use of hydrogen as an alternative fuel will also increase.
3. Biodiesel
Biodiesel produced from vegetable oils or animal fats. The fuel is considered quite effective with a lower carbon dioxide emissions compared to conventional fuels. The problem, as it is made from plants or animals, could disrupt the availability of food for humans.
4. Water
So far the water as the fuel is still a hypothesis and further research. Water is an energy that does not directly be used without the help of another process. Because the water is the oxidation of hydrogen. For that technology must be developed to split water molecules into hydrogen and used as energy.
5. Urine
If this happens we do not need to bother anymore to find a public restroom while traveling. According to Dr. Gerardine Botte of the Association Technique Professor Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Ohio, in the molecule of urea (urine), there are four hydrogen atoms when compared to regular water which contains only two hydrogen atoms. Then the molecules are separated by oxidation of the nickel electrode at the base so that the hydrogen is 0:37 V will split.
6. Ethanol
Ethanol, also called ethyl alcohol, pure alcohol, absolute alcohol, or alcohol alone and is a volatile liquid, flammable, colorless, and is commonly used in everyday life. Ethanol is produced from plants, is a fuel that produces the least emissions. Some fuel is blended with ethanol is the famous E10 gasohol that consisted of 90 percent gasoline and 10 percent ethanol. In some countries already use the E85 is 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline.
7. Liquid Nitrogen
Liquid nitrogen is the one that is prepared for future vehicles. The manufacturing process, liquid nitrogen is heated, the heat extracts and produces air pressure used to drive a piston or engine so that it can rotate.
8. Air pressure
In addition to the air pressure generated by liquid nitrogen, in a simple compressed air can also be used as car resource. The use of compressed uda do not require spark plugs and cooling systems. Thus, it can reduce production costs and vehicle maintenance. Projects with air pressure engine was first developed by Tata Motors of India in collaboration with the French company, MDI.
9. Natural Gas
CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) or natural gas in Indonesia and known as CNG) fuel gas). Pollution caused by lower than gasoline and diesel. Kaerna lighter than oxygen, pollutants generated are also very low. The problem, to save it required a very high pressure. As a result, must use a tube or a solid and heavy tanks.
10. Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG)
These fuels are commonly used by households in Indonesia and known as LPG. Because it consists of a mixture of combustible hydrocarbon (kalu no source of fire), public transport usage is a lot. Compared with CNG, LPG storage requires much lower pressures.
