Magna Steyer's Coupic Concept's shown at the Geneva Motor Show

Graz, - This is not the first work Stayer displayed on a world-class exhibition. Recorded, to date there are six concepts are all labeled Mila. The first, named Mila, had mejeng in Frankfurt (2005), followed by Mila Future (Geneva, 2007), Mila Alpin (Geneva, 2008), Mila EV (Geneva, 2009), and Mila Aerolight (Geneva, 2011). With a series of concept cars, Stayer had a goal to show about the material or features that can be made for car production. Hence, all these concepts are not mass produced.

"Mila is an illustration of a unique design with technical skills that can be given to customers (car manufacturers) as an innovative solution to help meet the challenges of the automotive world's progress," Guenther said Apfalter, President of Magna Steyr.

The concept of "3 in 1"
Just like the previous concepts, Coupic also has a unique design that combines the three characters at once, kupe SUV, pickup, and convertible. Aesthetically, its shape is similar to an SUV with a 5-passenger capacity and flat like a typical posture kupe in general. The design is supported also by the use of tires with the size and type of off-road vehicles.

He said as a convertible because of the use made of a glass roof that can open and close the front and rear (separate) electronically, just as the working sunroof. The front of the roof can be opened by sliding backwards, and vice versa.

Can also appear as a pickup truck with a sliding glass roof to the front and rear seat set with Kinematic module to change the rear cabin as the tub. The process of folding the seat forward which can also function as a barrier wall at the entry of rain water or dust into the cabin through a special button.

It sounds a bit odd when a company supplies automotive components to manufacturers of the world (Germany, Japan or the USA) made a prototype car. It's like the Magna Steyr, a subsidiary of Magna International, based in Canada, with the result of Coupic Concept to be shown at the Geneva Motor Show, beginning this March.
