Toyota GT 86 and Subaru BRZ's released for purist edition


TOKYO - Two Japanese automakers, Toyota and Subaru, recently announced the launch of two sports cars, the Toyota GT 86 and Subaru BRZ Purist edition in Japan.

According to the manufacturer, the GT 86 and Subaru BRZ Purist edition has been stripped down and equipped with several accessories and performance is extraordinary, both in terms of exterior, interior and engine performance. Thus was launched Inautonews, Sunday (12/02/2012).

In terms of interior there are several accessories that are stripped down, among others, AC, Sound System, and the addition of aluminum pedals and steering rods are made much lighter, so as to facilitate the acceleration in the driver's driving.

Furthermore, the Toyota GT 86 Purist edition is priced from 16,750 euros or the equivalent of Rp198 million, while for the Subaru BRZ priced from 16 200 euros or the equivalent of Rp191 million.

In addition, Toyota GT 86 and Subaru BRZ Purist edition is equipped with 12.0-liter, four-cylinder that can shoot up to 197 hp at 7,000 rpm and maximum torque of 151 lb-lf at 6000 rpm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels by a six-speed manual transmission with stick shift in a short stroke.
