This is what makes Lorenzo shocked. 2010 world champion from Spain this rate, if it continues to happen then MotoGP is in danger.

"I was really surprised because I thought the gap be much reduced. It would be dangerous. I was with Colin, who is the fastest rider to CRT here, and it seems he's in the category other than MotoGP."


Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo, the team was surprised by the quality of CRT (Claiming Rule Teams) in the MotoGP track. According to him, there are distinctions between the CRT and prototype teams.

Entering the 2012 MotoGP season, which is the prime engine of 1,000 cc era, Dorna gave the idea to bring the CRT which is a new category. The reason, CRT may be the future of MotoGP because it can save a lot of cost.

It invites a lot of criticism from top riders. Lorenzo became the last rider to give his opinion, after seeing the results of the official test at the Sepang Circuit, Malaysia, January 31-February 2 ago.

In a trial for three days, there are three of the project team who co-CRT, including the Suter-BMW engine experienced by an American rider Colin Edwards. Former Tech 3 Yamaha rider was in the squad Forward Racing.

Edwards put an end to test it with a time of more than five seconds adrift with the Repsol Honda rider, Casey Stoner, who became the fastest. While the squad is based in Spain, BQR, which uses a Kawasaki ZX-10R engine, more than seven seconds left.
