Australian dislikes thunderous roar of the engines

Victoria, -From the results of the survey respondents BSA with age from 18 years and over (population 5.8 million), 35 percent said that the driver with the car noise is a problem, especially in their social environment.

The survey report was in line with EPA (Environment Protection Authority) or the environmental protection authorities of Australia, during 2010-2011 and received 6644 complaints about the noise of motor vehicles. The number rose 48 percent over the previous period. In fact, this year there are 386 types of vehicles road worthy license suspended because of engine noise exceeds the limit.

In fact, EPA has set a voice limit the provision of motor vehicle engines. For a production car after 1983 should not exceed 90 decibels, while the old cars and motorcycles only up to 100 decibels (similar to the volume of drilling machine).

Besides noise, the BSA also surveyed about the biggest problems when it was on the highway. The result, 34 percent of the correspondents said the biggest problems is way too close or driving a stick. And it ranks the second largest. With the results of two surveys about the EPA will tighten the testing process for testing the vehicle and driver's license in Australia.

Car with a thunderous roar of the engines are less favored by people of Australia. Reason, other than deafening, the noise becomes the biggest environmental problems. This conclusion is derived from the new data Australian Bureau of Statistics (BSA) after conducting a survey and released Caradvice.com, today (22/2).
