This time for Jeep Wrangler to boost production in US

Jeep Wrangler at the factory produces only Toledo, Ohio and has reached peak capacity. The workers have overtime, operates up to 20 hours per day, six days a week. To meet the demand for units that accumulate, Jeep must first reach agreement with the Telecommunications Workers Union (United Auto Workers) to discuss overtime and target production of 100 units per day.

From the math, by increasing the amount of production of 5 units per hour equal to adding employees 50 people. Increased production is expected to start running in June 2012 with an additional option to leave the production, the third shift.

Jeep Wrangler sold in the United States with record sales of 122,460 units during 2011, up 30 percent over the previous year. As for the export market, Wrangler sales recorded 26,278 units, also up 10 percent from 2010.
