SIM-Drive electric cars're cruising speed of 100 km / hour

SIM-Drive equipped with batteries that provide 65 kW of electrical power for four units of electric in-wheel motors applying direct-drive that also serve as generators during braking the vehicle driver.

More fierce, vehicle weighing 1650 kg has supercar acceleration capabilities like exotic. From 0 to 100 km / h is only printed within 4.8 seconds, while the maximum speed reached 150 km / h

VEHICLE this might not make you interested in buying them because the design is wonderful. However, the SIM-Drive is an electric cars' prototype that is able to roam as far as 305 km at a constant of cruising speed of 100 km / hour. Does this change your view?

A collaboration consists of 34 technology companies and a number of Japanese institutions offer prototype of electric vehicle (EV) Electric Vehicle Industry Exhibition in 2012 late last year.

The joint venture company established by the Japanese Keio University in 2009 did not aim to make the SIM-Drive into commercial production vehicles, but rather to offer an example of advanced electric vehicle technology at low cost.

Energy efficiency presented by the four-seater car is mostly contributed from aerodynamic design that produces significant air resistance at 0.19 level.

Body length with a tapered roofline and overhangs are part of the design to achieve maximum aerodynamics. Small side mirrors contain cameras also aims to further reduce air friction.

Electric cars are also carrying the body of light steel monocoque and ECOPIA Bridgestone tires with very low barriers to scroll the participating support to increase efficiency factor.
